Academic Manuscript Fellows

Academic Manuscript Fellows 2018-19

The Center for Teaching and Learning is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for faculty interested in being part of the 2018-19 Academic Manuscript fellows. There are six spaces available, and we would ideally have at least one faculty member each of the five schools or divisions.

This program is designed to increase scholarship in the area of teaching & learning, and to increase faculty creation of academic manuscripts. Each award recipient will receive a $1000 stipend at the end of the project, following the submission of a manuscript by August 31, 2019.

What is Required of the Fellow?

At a minimum, the cohort member will be required to:

  • Attend one meeting with the cohort or Director of the Center for Teaching & Learning in the Fall and Spring semester.
  • Produce an academic manuscript ready for publication by August 31, 2019.

Important Dates:

Applications are due by September 28, 2018. Faculty should expect to begin working on their projects in October 2018 and submit a SoTL manuscript by August 31, 2019.  Stipends will be paid through payroll, less any applicable taxes.
