Academic Manuscript Cohort 2017-18
The Center for Teaching and Learning is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for faculty interested in being part of the 2017-18 Academic Manuscript Cohort. There are six spaces available, ideally one for a faculty member from each division. The Academic Manuscript cohort is designed to increase faculty’s participation in writing academic manuscripts for publication. Each award recipient will receive a $1000 stipend at the end of the project, by September 30, 2018, following the submission of an academic manuscript.
What is Required of the Fellow?
At a minimum, the Academic Manuscript cohort member will be required to:
- Attend one meeting with the cohort or Director of the Center for Teaching & Learning in the Fall and Spring semester.
- Produce a academic manuscript ready for publication by September 30, 2018.
Interested faculty should complete our online application form: https://goo.gl/forms/BTwOcD39qU76Z5I22
All applications will be open on August 23, 2017 and close on Sept. 23, 2017. Faculty should expect to begin working on their projects in October 2017. Stipends will be paid through payroll, less any applicable taxes.
